Josephine County’s Budget Committee is meeting on Tuesday for a three hour session.
Presentations will be made by District Attorney Stephen Campbell, and Sheriff Gil Gilbertson.
Josephine county is facing steep budget cuts, especially in public safety.
There is a proposed property tax levy on the May 21st ballot. If passed, it would bring in $9.1 million to Josephine county’s criminal justice department.
The public is invited to attend the meeting, happening at the County Courthouse.
The meeting begins at 3 P.M. and ends at 6.
