Ashland Food Bank To Kick Off Fundraising

The Ashland Emergency Food Bank has announced that they are ready to settle down.

After several costly moves over the past 40 years the food bank has decided to make it’s permanent home it’s Clover Lane location, hoping to raise enough money to purchase the building.

Pam Marsh, Manager of the Ashland Emergency Food Bank, said “once we landed in this wonderful facility which has all the infrastructure that was required for a fast-food restaurant, walk-in freezers, walk-in fridges. We said this is where we want to stay. This is a wonderful place to serve folks.”

They have raised approximately $175,000 since last July and they are looking to raise $600,000 by August of this year.

The food bank will be holding an open house, at 560 Clover Lane in Ashland, on Sunday March 10th to kick off the fundraiser.
