The Jacksonville City Council has approved a budget for the coming fiscal year.
The total budget is up $95,000 more than the current one, now just under $7 million.
Property owners are now required to pay $1.84 per $1,000 of property value; that’s the highest rate allowed under Oregon law.
Officials say there aren’t any large project planned for the coming year.
