Ashland Schools Will Allow Out-Of-District Students Next School Year

Starting next school year, out-of-district students will be allowed to attend Ashland schools.

The Ashland School Board voted unanimously on Monday on the decision.

The open enrollment law was passed in 2011 to allow schools to accept out of district students without permission from thier home district.

Last year the district accepted 60 students out of the 102 who applied.

It’s still unclear how many students the district has openings for starting in 2013.
