An early Sunday morning traffic stop along Highway 101, north of Coos Bay lead Oregon State Police to an unusual item.
Officials will only say they confiscated,a “destructive device” from a 1991 Toyota pickup.
The 17 year old driver of the pick-up was lodged at the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center, for unlawful possession of a destructive device among other charges.
Three other teens inside the truck were cited for minors in possession of alcohol and released.
