Tonight, 26 student ambassadors and their families are hosting an auction to raise money for a trip to Medford’s sister city at the end of the month. The dinner auction kicked off around 5:30 this evening at kid’s unlimited in Medford. In addition to funding the trip, students are trying to freshen up on their italian speaking skills.
“The parents of our host families don’t speak English, only the host kids do, so go over there at talk to them. It’s just different because you are staying with a family you don’t know,” said Shyonna Lech.
