In honor of fallen fire fighter Oscar Montano Garcia…Governor Kitzhaber has ordered all flags at public institutions to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday.
Montano-Garcia was a crew foreman, with a long history of both working in and enjoying Oregons forests.
He passed away while working the nabob fire just south of Applegate lake
