The second homicide in two weeks in Klamath County…
This latest one involving a Chiloquin man found apparently murdered in his home…and if officials have any leads, they aren’t talking.
Police say 32 year old David Costa of Chiloquin was murdered at a home near Sundance Drive and Meadowview Drive.
The body of David Joseph Kelly Costa was found in this home just east of the Agency Lake area late Monday night. Klamath County District Attorney Rob Patridge isn’t releasing much information about the case…
“Any indication what type of weapon was used, how many times he was shot’ ‘It was certainly a firearm, and we’re, like we said we’re currently investigating and so we’re not releasing that information at this time.”
“How was the body discovered’ ‘Again, we’re going to bring that information forward as the investigation comes forward.”
State police forensic investigators and Sheriff’s search teams were combing the area for clues this morning.
No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
Patridge notes that police need the help of anyone who might know something…
“We hope that if members of the public have information related to this matter, that they step forward and provide the information.”

There have been five murders so far this year in Klamath County…Suspects have been arrested in connection with three of those homicides.
