Medford Police Arrest Home Intruder Following Fight with Homeowner

Medford Police make an arrest, after they say a man broke into a West Medford house, and fought with the homeowner.

Police were called out to the 500 block of Grape street just after 11 P.M. Wednesday night. They say a man had broken into the house, while the homeowner was watching TV.

Police say the resident noticed movement in the kitchen, and went to investigate. The homeowner found the intruder, and ordered him to leave the house. Reports say the intruder did not leave, and engaged the resident in a physical fight. After a few minutes, the intruder ran out of the house, into the alley.

Police found the suspect minutes later in the alley. They arrested Michael Brandon Mak, on charges of Burglary 1 and Assault 4. He is in the Jackson County Jail on $41,000 bail.
