If you are in the search for a new furry friend, you may be in luck.
This weekend is ‘National Pet Adoption Weekend’ at Petsmart locations across the country.
In Medford today, several dozen dogs from various shelters and rescues wagged their tails in hopes of finding a new owner.
“This is a great thing. If people could come and adopt dogs instead of just going to breeders, it makes a huge different. Because a lot of these dogs just need homes.”
If you missed the event today it will continue tomorrow from 10am until 4pm.
Dexter’s Rescue Remedy was also present, trying to find homes for some of their dogs in need.
