Apilot is lucky to be alive after crash landing into a field.
The pilot of this single engine kit aircraft plane called for help shortly before 6Saturday evening.
The plane lost power upon take off. He tried to glide the plane back to the airport but wasn’t able to make it..
“He was able to put the plane down in an open field and struck a fence, causing damage to the fence and the aircraft. No body was injured and the plane was towed off,” said Steven Scow from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
The pilot was able to get out of the aircraft before rescue crews responded.
an investigation into what exactly went wrong is now on-going.
