Police Still Looking For Information In Huson Murder

It’s been more than a week since William Huson was killed and more than 100 tips later, police still don’t have a suspect or person of interest behind bars.

Huson was the Valley Cab driver who picked up a passenger near Howie’s and was shot in the head more than a week ago. His body dumped in a field off Vilas Road, and his cab, police say, was driven to a deserted parking lot by the suspect who police still haven’t caught.

Police released security camera footage from Howie’s today in order to locate 4 people who may be able to aid them in the investigation.

Around 7:30 tonight Medford Police informed us those people are no longer of interest and requested that we no longer air their images but investigators believe there are more witnesses who were at the various restaurants and bars on North Front Street on the evening of October 20th and police and family members are hoping to get more insight.

Medford Police Chief Tim George said “If someone is doing something unusual that they normally wouldn’t do, that’s what we’re after.”

Husons’ wife, Susan Huson said “I am begging the public for information that will bring my husbands killer to justice.”

If you have any information you are urged to contact Medford Police at (541) 770-4783 or make an anonymous tip to the Medford Police Department at 1 (800) 850-0580.
