Mediation between the teachers of the Medford Education Association and the school district are set to begin today.
Anew contract between the district and some 600 teachers has not been reached yet. Wage increases, pension contributions and the number of workdays are part of the dispute.
This afternoon, the teachers are holding a “rebuild the trust” rally.
That kicks off at 4:15 on the Central High School lawn.
