Search and rescue crews were called out to help a woman who was hit by a boatSaturday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 4 o’clock at Lost Creek Lake.
Officials with the Jackson County Sheriff’s office say the family rented the boat and were using a pull toy.
The rope got caught in a buoy line, a female exited the boat to untie the knot.
Once it was untied, her husband backed the boat up and the prop hit her in the leg.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
