Arrests made in Medford armed robberies

Medford, Ore. –Medford Policearrested 21 year old Jeremiah Petrey and 22 year old Michael Bobbett for their alleged involvement in three armed robberies.

The Medford Police Department has investigated three armed robberies that occurred between July 9th and August 12th. Two of the armed robberies occurred at a Subway on Crater Lake Avenue and the third armed robbery happened at the Mini Pet Mart, also on Crater lake Avenue.Police believed the three armed robberies were related.

With the help of a witness police were able to identify Petrey and Dennis as suspects. Detectives believe the two suspects acted together on the first robbery and then Bobbett acted alone in the others. Police also believe that both suspects’ heroin addiction was a motivating factor to commit the robberies.

Both Petrey and Bobbett are being held at the Jackson County Jail. Petrey has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery and his bail has been set at $1,000,000.

Bobbett has been charged with three counts of 1st Degree Robbery and his bail has been set at $3,000,000.
