Mom and pop shops all around the country, including right here in the Valley, celebrated “Small Business Saturday”
The annual event was started by American Express in 2010 in attempts to support local businesses. The manager at Paddington station in Ashland says it’s a help.
“Small Business Saturday really promotes awareness of small business, which contributes to the bottom line for our holiday season.”
If you missed Black Friday or Small Business Saturday, you haven’t missed out on the deals yet. Monday is Cyber Monday, the busiest online shopping day of the year.
