Business Booming For Vietnamese Family

A story you first saw on NBC 5 News back in 2012.

A Vietnamese family living in Grants Pass showed us a home-made bomb thrown at their house and told us they were targets of racial discrimination not just at home but at the food cart they operated.

Yung hang says after his story aired, things have turned around.

He showed us a brand new restaurant he opened right on seventh street in downtown grants pass. Hang said “…Business picked up with the location. We doing really good. In the winter time, it’s learning from the trailer to a brick and mortar building. So it’s a learning curve but we’re here to stay and we strive to focusing our plan…”

Hang says he still plans on running his food truck and hopes to one-day open one in Medford.
