JaCo Sheriff Investigating Suspicious Death

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says they found a body Thursday afternoon in the Bear Creek mobile home park, that’s near exit 19 just outside of Ashland.

Officials say Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at a residence at mobile park around 4:30pm Thursday afternoon. Deputies say they found a deceased subject inside the house.

They are investigating it as suspicious death of a resident who was found in their home. Officials have not released a name pending notification of next of kin.
