Medford, Ore. — The holiday shopping season is far from over for businesses in the Rogue Valley, and the day after Christmas is one of the busiest.
Store managers say today is a big day not only for purchases, but also returns, as customers look to add to gifts they’ve already received or get some cash back for gifts that didn’t quite hit the mark.
At the Best Buy in Medford, managers say accessories are drawing big crowds as customers add on to what they’ve already received.
“People taking advantage of the gift cards they received, we’re seeing some of that,” noted General Manager Chirs Folgate. “Most folks coming in to accesorize those gifts they received or the family gifts, coming in to get the blu-ray for the tv they got.”
Folgate says the day after Christmas easily ranks in the top ten busiest days of the year for his staff.
