Fire Breaks Out In Suspected Vacant Home

Fire fighters battled a fire at home in West Medford.

The fire broke out just after 10pm Monday on 12th and Peach Streets.

When fire fighters arrived the garage was already fully engulfed in flames.

They got the fire put out in about fifteen minutes but fire investigators are on scene Monday night looking for a cause.

Neighbors told us the house is vacant.

Medford Police and federal law enforcement are currently investigating suspicious fires at 14 West Medford homes and 1 in East Medford.

They believe the fires are being started by a serial arsonist.

No word if this most recent fire is considered suspicious.
