Ashland Schools Get Police Officer

Ashland city schools now have a police office specifically assigned to them for the first time in 10 years.

The new school resource officer will go between the high school, middle, and elementary schools.

Officer Lisa Evans was selected from a list of candidates for the position. She will begin in late September or early October.

Evans will work with the schools for the next two years.
