More college students are paying their way, with four out of five reporting working while going to school.
According to the College Student Pulse Survey conducted by YOU GOV, the average “work week” is 19 hours while classes are in session.
In-state tuition at public four-year universities jumped 5% last year 6% at community colleges. Private schools also hiked tuition, and housing costs are up across the board.
