After ten years of fixed water rates, Eagle Point residents will soon see a steep incline in their monthly bill.
The city council voted unanimously yesterday to increase the basic water rate by four dollars a month. This now means residents will be paying $14.31 per month as a base rate.
The consumption fee will also increase by 30 cents for each one thousand gallons of water used.
The new fees are set to begin July first.
