Southern Oregon Participates in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Do you have prescribed medication that you’re not using, or don’t want

Two separate communities are holding a drug take-in event this weekend.

Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This is the 6th national collection event.

Past collections have resulted in over 400,000 pounds of expired, unwanted prescription medication each.

Here in Oregon, there will be 55 collection sites open on Saturday.

Medford and Grants Pass will be participating in the drug take-back day, the events are from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. in both locations.

In Medford, you can drop off your unwanted prescriptions in parking lot behind City Hall, at 411 West 8th street.

In Grants Pass, take them to the Department of Public Safety at 101 Northwest A street.
