Annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk

On Saturday more than 300 people in Southern Oregon got outside in the sunshine to walk for an important cause.

In Central Point and Merrill, the annual Multiple Sclerosis walk was underway.

Many of the people were walking for themselves or family members affected by the disease.

More than $20,000 was raised in Southern Oregon.

The money raised will go toward research and services for those with MS.

The disease is more common in the Pacific Northwest than any other part of our country.
