Earth day may not officially be here until Monday, but that didn’t stop thousands of people from celebrating it today.
The Science Works Museum held it’s annual Earth Day celebration.
More than 60 vendors were on site educating people on how to live a little more green.
“The theme of this years event is take the next step, something simple like that.”
Prewett says one of the most interesting facts is that the event is practically waste free, and they will only have about 5 gallons of trash to dispose of afterwards.
