March Jobs Number Released, Lower Than Economists Expected

The March jobs report was released early Friday morning, and hiring was lower than expected.

The U.S. economy adds 88,000 jobs. That is the fewest added in the last 9 months, and much lower than the 195 to 200-thousand expected from economists.

However, the unemployment rate has fallen to 7.6%. That’s the lowest it’s been in four years.
