Tsunami Dock Removed From Washington Beach

The last of the 65-foot tsunami dock that washed ashore Washington’s Olympic peninsula has been removed according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The dock is debris from the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami.

Work to remove it from the beach began on March 17th and Japan has paid most of the removal cost, totaling more than$600,000 dollars.
