The Board of commissioners will be asked to approve KOGAP Enterprises inc. as the contractor for the Ashland Intersection tomorrow for at the9:30 A.M. meeting.
The project will realign the West Jackson road and Highway 99 intersection off I-5 exit 19, creating a traditional 4-way intersection with a stop light.
The project is slated to begin this spring and will affect the Lithia Springs Resort, el Tapatio, and the Town and Country Chevron.
Local business-owners say the re-design will boost traffic to their businesses and make the empty losts more desireable for development.
