Medford Police Look for Gun-Wielding Shilo Inn Robber

Authorities are on the hunt for a man they say robbed the Medford Shilo Inn at gun point.

At around 10 Sunday night, authorities say a man came into the Shilo Inn with a handgun, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

He’s described as a black male, about 6’2″, athletic build, wearing a white shirt, black jacket and black beanie.

“We set up a perimeter, we searched the area. The Jackson County K-9 unit assisted us. The suspect has not been located at this time. We’re still checking the area for possible clues and the suspect,” said Sergeant Darryl Graham of the Medford Police Department.

The suspect was last seen running behind the building.

Unfortunately, this very same motel has been robbed before, at the beginning of November when a man with a knife demanded money from the front desk clerk.

If you see anything suspicious, you are asked to contact the Medford Police Watch Commander at 541-774-2249.

Police Also Searching for Another Robbery Suspect

Meantime, Police are still on the hunt for another suspect who robbed the U.S. Bank on North Phoenix Road in an Albertsons. It happened on Saturday around four in the evening.

Authorities say the suspect is described as a roughly six-foot tall white male, with a mask covering his face, wearing a black jacket and light colored pants.

Police say there were no weapons seen and he took an undisclosed amount of cash. If anyone has information, contact the Medford Police.
