Fire crews in central Oregon will now have a new advantage when it comes to fighting wildfires.
Two web-cameras have been mounted atop a 90-foot communication tower near Lake Billy Chinook and Culver.
The cameras provide a 360-degree view which will be accessible to the Lake Chinook Fire & Rescue Department from laptops or smartphones.
The department does have plans to add an additional 8 webcams throughout central Oregon to help watch for fires.
