The crowds packed the malls and big retail giants for Black Friday, but today — millions of people continued thier holiday shopping this Small Business Saturday.
Shoppers took advantage of deals offered by small businesses — like Flawless in downtown Medford.
Business owners say today was a success and they’re able to lure shoppers in with offers the big retailers don’t have.
“I’d say there’s probably a 50% increase in traffic. I like to give people good prices all year round you know. Depending on how much somebody likes something I let people negotiate, and that makes it more fun.”
The retail holiday was started two years ago by American Express, encouraging people to ‘shop small’.
