A Roseburg man made an escape from the Douglas County Courthouse Monday after facing two days in jail for a drug court violation.
Daniel Cox was waiting for officials to transport him to the jail when he left the courtroom and jumped from a second story balcony.
Cox ran off and hid near Deer Creek for more than 15 minutes before authorities captured him.
He was then booked on charges of violating probation and escape.
