New data reveals that Josephine County is home to the highest concentration of medical marijuana patients within the state.
The data comes from the Oregonian, after they conducted an analysis of state marijuana users.
Statewide, 15 out of 1,000 Oregonians are medical marijuana patients.
But here locally, Jackson County has twice that many users and Josephine County has more than triple.
Some believe the numbers are higher in southern Oregon due more growers, and the warmer drier climate.
