Right now, police are investigating a stabbing that happened earlier this afternoon around 3:30.
It occurred on the Bear Creek Greenway around mile marker 23, between Crater Lake Ford and Railroad Park.
We’re told that several police units are still on scene.
The entire area was surrounded by crime scene tape.
We’re told police responded to an alleged stabbing on the Bear Creek Greenway around 3:30 this afternoon.
We know that at least one person was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
Officials are currently searching the area of the Greenway that passes under I-5 behind Crater Lake Ford.
Police do have part of the bike path closed off at this time and are not allowing anyone through.
Anyone that was in the area at the time is urged to contact Medford Police with any information.
