Now’s the Time to Get a Flu Shot… And There’s Many Different Options

Flu cases usually start to pop up in October, so there’s no better time than now to get that flu shot.

Health officials with the C-D-C And the Department of Health and Human Services are urging people that complacency could lead to serious illness.

The latest flu vaccine available includes protection against two new strains.

There are several vaccination options out there for you:

The traditional flu shot.

The intradermal shot, that uses a much smaller needle that only goes skin deep rather than into the muscle.

The high dose shot for those 65 and older.

The flu mist.
