Ashland Resident Sues City And Oregon Shakespeare Festival

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the City of Ashland are facing a federal lawsuit.

The lawsuit centers on a violation of the Americans with Disability Act, due to the slanted brick courtyard outside the OSF theaters.

Resident Philip Lang issued the complaint on Monday.

He says he’s not looking for money, just for the courtyard to be fixed.

The city owns most of the land OSF is situated on and has been planning a reconstruction project.

No word just yet on what action the city plans on taking.
