If you’re in Ashland Friday, and see smoke up on Hitt Road, don’t worry, it’s a planned burn.
Forestry crews will burn brush piles up near, the Ashland water shed. Officials are encouraging hikers and bikers to avoid the area, during the burning.
Depending on the weather, crews may continue the burn into the weekend.
