Court records show a Medford man accused of brutally beating and sexually assaulting his toddler stepson– was himself sexually abused as a teen.
Matthew Hyrup was among a string of victims who were sexually abused by Daniel Paul Zeman in the 1990’s.
Police say 27 year old Hyrup beat and sexually abused his step-son in late February.
Hyrup is due back in court on March 19. He is currently being held in the Jackson county jail on $1 million bail.
