Grants Pass is going green. They are now the new home of electric vehicle charging stations that are scheduled to open very soon.
A press release on the new charging stations came out overnight.
The U.S. Department of Energy announced in 2009 that Oregon was selected as one of seven test markets for the largest deployment of electric vehicles.
The new Grants Pass charging station is a part of the “West Coast Green Highway,” which is a series of charging stations stretching the length of Interstate 5.
