Fire danger level to rise on Tuesday

JACKSON COUNTY, ORE. — Hot temperatures and dry conditions are prompting the Oregon Department of Forestry to raise the fire danger level this week.

The fire danger level on lands protected by ODF in Jackson and Josephine counties rises from “high” to extreme on Tuesday.

Power-driven and spark-emitting equipment will be required to shut down at 10:00 a.m.
