MADGE sends two men to jail on suspicion of trafficking narcotics

Medford, Ore. — A drug bust in Medford sends two men to jail on suspicion of trafficking narcotics.

The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement, or MADGE, arrested 42-year-old Gabriel Chavez-Villalobos and 24-year-old Efrain Villalobos-Arreguin on the 2700 block of North Pacific Highway on Saturday, July 18th.

MADGE had been investigating Chavez-Villalobos for more than a year.

They recovered more than two pounds of meth secured in traps designed to transport the drug.

Both men are lodged in jail on $500,000 bail and are charged with unlawful distribution, manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
