"Fully vaccinated" t-shirts takes stance on controversial issue

Albuquerque, N.M. — An Albuquerque company is causing waves for a shirt that takes a stance on a controversial issue.

It encourages parents to vaccinate their children, the shirt reads: “Fully Vaccinated, You’re Welcome.”

Carson and Karen Bennett say the idea was inspired by their own children. The Bennetts said they initially sold four or five shirts online, but sales took off after the measles outbreak at Disneyland, now, they say they’ve sold more than 200 shirts.

For each shirt sold, a dollar is donated to a nonprofit raising awareness on the importance of getting kids fully vaccinated.
