5.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southern Oregon Coast

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck off the Southern Oregon coast Tuesday night.

The quake was recorded just after 7 P.M., about 170 miles off the coast of Coos Bay.

Officials at the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center say there is no danger of a tsunami.

No damage has been reported.
