9th Annual Oregon Cheese Festival

It was a busy Saturday for the thousands of people at the ninth annual Oregon Cheese Festival.

Organizers estimate more than three thousand people attended the event at the Rogue Creamery in Central Point.

The annual event brings cheese and winemakers from all over the state, right here to the valley.

“All the cheese in all of Oregon reflects the land where it comes from and the crops that are grown throughout get into the water system and in the land, and into the milk.”

Proceeds from today’s event benefit the Oregon Cheese Gild, which is a non-profit that aims to educate consumers about the importance of cheese products.
