Alleged trafficker busted after 2 month investigation

Medford, Ore. — After a two month long investigation, officers attempted to arrest a Phoenix man for drug trafficking, but end up taking him to the hospital instead.

They say 55 year old Stephen Gregory Johnson was in poor condition Thursday, when officers with the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team served a search warrant at Johnson’s home.

They say they found four ounces of meth, seven ounces of heroin, scales, packaging, and over 12-thousand dollars in cash.

Officers say the suspect will be cited later.
