Andresen Acres Hosts the 6th Annual Alpaca Open House

Today’s weather brought out dozens of people to the 6th annual Alpaca Open House at Andresen Acres in Eagle Point. The farm has been open for 10 year, specializing in the alpaca, which is a cousin of the llama. The alpaca’s wool is softer and warmer. Kids were able to hand feed the animals and learn interesting facts like this one.

“The nice thing about alpaca fiber is it doesn’t scratch,” said Norman Andresen.

If you’d like to schedule a trip the alpaca farm or would like to learn more about them we will post a link onto our website at kobi5.com
