Ahelicopter from an Ashland-based company crashes in Texas, leaving one man dead and another injured.
Records show the helicopter was registered to Brim Equipment Leasing Incorporated, a company based out of Ashland.
The Department of Public Safety says the crash happened late Tuesday near Childress, Texas.
The helicopter, with two men on board, crashed while they were trying to fix power lines.
Passenger, 23 year-old Jonathan David Suhr died at the hospital, while the pilot, Keith Hard was treated and released.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
