The parent of Bank of the Cascades is set to buy Idaho’s Home Federal Bank.
Cascade Bancorp Inc. based in Bend, out-bid Washington’s Banner Bancorp for the deal for $265.7 million.
Cascade Bancorp Inc. would get $2.4 billion in assets, and 56 branches in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
Regulators must still approve the deal, but the merger is expected to close this spring.
