A new twist in the case of the former city worker accused of stealing money from the department of parks and recreation.
The lawyer for Becky Bianco who is accused of funneling more than $40,000 from the department has issued a subpoena to the city. They want city audits from 2008 to 2011.
In an exclusive interview with NBC 5 news Becky Bianco said the allegations against her are false and that she did not steal any money from the city. The city says differently. They claim Bianco funneled money from the department into her personal checking account.
Bianco said she expects to be vindicated once the matter goes to trial.
A document deposition is scheduled for April 20th.
